For 3 to 4 tarte flambées
For the homemade tarte flambée dough :
- 500g of flour
- 7g of baker's yeast
- 25cl of water
- 30g of butter
For the filling :
- 1 onion
- 1 jar of cream for tarte flambée
1. For the flambé pie dough: in a container, put the flour. Add the yeast on one side and the salt on the other. Pour in the water and knead for a few minutes. Then add the butter and knead until you get a homogeneous dough ball. Cover the container with a damp cloth and let it rest at room temperature for about 1 hour (it should double in volume). Take small portions of dough and roll them out as thinly as possible. Oval or rectangle, it's up to you. Preheat the oven to 220°.
2. Add the filling: spread the cream on the flambéed tart base, add the sliced onion and the bacon. Bake for 10 minutes.
